Solenoid Valves, direct acting
Valves of this type switch the sealing element directly via the magnetic system. In this case the seal usually needs to be lifted against the effective operating pressure from the seat simply by the actuator. A closing spring keeps the valve closed, supported by the pressure of the medium. The function depends on the size of the seat, the effective operating pressure and magnetic power.
Valves of this control type do not have any pilot orifice. So these valves are less sensitive to any slight pollution of the media.
Direct acting solenoid valves are ideal for vacuum applications.
They operate from 0 bar up to the maximum operating pressure.
Direct acting solenoid valves are used, for example, for
- Vacuum technology
- Venting of gas and tank systems
- Safety control units for burner control systems
- Low pressure gas supply for industrial and domestic applications in accordance with DIN EN 161
and many other applications.
PTFE is a hard plastic and can lead to slight leaks in low pressure ranges which is why we can only certify the leak rate DIN3230 T3 here.
